- Manage daily operations of the deli department, including food preparation, cooking, and serving
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Train and supervise deli staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other department managers to ensure smooth operations throughout the store

```Qualifications```
- Previous experience in a deli or food service management role
- Strong knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks
- Proficient in cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Knowledge of banquet operations is a plus
