Schedule/Pay: Full Time (M-F, 8-5pm) in-office (not remote), Compensation is commensurate with experience – approximate range $70K-$85K. Benefits include medical insurance, medical reimbursement account, 401K plan, 401K match, life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance.
Job Summary:
The Finance Manager/Office Manager will be an instrumental member of the organization and take responsibility for the bookkeeping, payroll, human resources and general office tasks in our Canandaigua, NY office. Responsibilities include accounts payable, banking, payroll, new hire onboarding, month-end reconciliations, and reporting, tracking of commission and sales data, ad hoc requests as necessary.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Preparation of monthly financial reporting package
Accounts payable, accounts receivable
Payroll processing, including computation, reporting and distribution (in conjunction with payroll service provider).
Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
General accounting, including monthly journal entries, entering deposits, paying bills.
401K contributions
Become topical expert on use of RepFabric software for reporting of sales and commissions, the importing of data and the interaction between the CRM and accounting function.
Revenue recognition
Maintain documents (electronic archives)
Create, maintain, and manage databases and spreadsheets.
Supervise and support the reporting of sales and commissions.
Review sales and commission data to ensure conformity with contract terms.
Insurance liaison, audits, renewal applications
Administration of benefits, open enrollment, compliance.
Revenue recognition
Enter Venmo and VRBO transactions.
New hire documentation
Provide backup/support for tenant needs in the building, visitors to Lupton Associates
Required Skills/Abilities:
General accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, account reconciliations and reporting
Experience with Microsoft Office suite preferred.
Strong spreadsheet and database skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience with QuickBooks or similar software.
Positive attitude
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, for external and internal
Good time management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
Resourceful and self-motivated
Strong analytical skills
Team player
Education and Experience:
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
8 years of experience in finance and/or accounting/bookkeeper
Ability to work well under limited supervision.
