Job Summary and Description

Coordinates one or more academic, educational and/or training programs for the Alamo Colleges District (ACD) Office of International Programs. Depending on assignment, may develop or coordinate the development, implementation and ongoing administration of study abroad; technical, occupational, certification training, and/or dual degree programs.

Reports to the Director or Associate Director of International Programs.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in international relations, sociology, psychology, education or a related field or a combination of relevant experience, education and training that equates to the required degree.
  • Three years of related experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Five years of experience in an international field. Experience in Virtual exchanges or COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning)
  • Experience teaching, training and/or developing online training.
  • Experience with diverse cultures.
  • Ability to read and speak a foreign language.

License and Certifications:

  • Must have a valid driver license. Must be insurable through ACD insurers.

Motor Vehicle Report is required in addition to background check and drug screen
