Akers Packaging is a third-generation independent box manufacturer. In business 60 years, we are one of the largest independent corrugated companies in the Midwest, as well as a leading independent corrugated converter in the United States.
We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative for our La Porte, Indiana location.
The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
The ideal candidate will present the following qualifications
At least two years' customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Corrugated packaging industry experience (including boxes, displays, graphics, and labeling) would be ideal.
Knowledge of various packaging mediums, board grades, inks and equipment capabilities a plus.
