Process Production Operator performs all aspects of the Production process, including material handling, equipment operations, equipment maintenance, process monitoring, quality control, and various support activities. 

Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Maintains a safe and clean working environment. Ensures that equipment is maintained in good operating condition and follows proper safety procedures before operations.

• Operate process equipment including but not limited to valves, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, etc.

• Perform process rounds and collect operating parameter data, raise awareness of conditions that are outside of expected ranges

• Investigate and troubleshoot abnormal conditions or equipment malfunctions

• Collect and analyze process samples

• Record data during operation of production line, including REPORTING all waste.

• Operate the production equipment via HMI ( Human Machine Interface)

• Responsible for completion of production documents (work order WO, weights, self-checks, etc.)

• Capable of using and reading measuring equipment as required.

• Implements the right raw material (name, code, and batch) with the adequate quantity (according to WO and Production Lead).

• Makes sure the samples are according to internal Safety Operating procedure (SOP). Works closely with QC (Quality Control) to assure conformity of product to customer requirements.

• Run equipment (chemical reactor, evaporation/distillation, filtration, vacuum and heated based system)

• Monitor equipment using flowmeters, panel lights, gauges, valves, to make sure it is operating safely and efficiently

• Perform basic maintenance on equipment. 

• Load and unload material

Required Skill/Abilities:

• Must have good mechanical skills.

• Chemistry & Physics fundamentals

• Willing to operate a Forklift

• Able to work around and with various chemicals 

• Must be available to work off shift and overtime.

• Ability to read and interpret PID's

• Skills in basic computer (World, Excel).

• Basic math skills (additions, subtractions, multiplications, divisions).

• At least 1 year in a process environment 

• Shifts Sunday- Tuesday and every other Saturday, or Wednesday- Friday and every other Saturday from 6pm-6am.
