Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team at AK Consultants & Healthcare. This position plays a critical role in the organization’s continued growth and expansion while maintaining the company’s client base. Strong research and organizational skills required for identifying opportunities to channel sales and visibility efforts resulting in the growth of our contract portfolio. An essential duty is maintaining customer relationships once secured to enhance satisfaction, aid retention, and build a referral base. The position is ideal for a mission-focused, numbers-driven, results-oriented, competitive, independent sales individual.

It is preferrable that candidate already resides in Tampa, Florida where the company headquarters are located.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate for this position must exhibit the ability to create strong corporate relationships, interact consultatively, and be adept at identifying perspective customer needs. Must be able to explain in detail AK’s service offerings, assess potential clients pain points, provide a tailored solution, and follow up through a successful close. The candidate must be able to:

  • Build lead generation through prospecting, account profiling, pipeline creation, and qualification of new clients (Hunter in Sales)
  • Establish plans for entering and exploring selected markets, including collateral, sales presentations, campaign development and execution, trade shows and events, webinars, speaking opportunities, and other mechanisms as appropriate.
  • Display polished communication skills.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of our business development process by establishing key metrics, templates, and goals
  • Maintain Company CRM leads and develop email content and cadence for regular communication.
  • Post/update accounts and opportunities, as well as assign tasks within CRM
  • Work well with other team members.
  • Gather data from prospective clients for proposal generation.
  • Manage scheduling of client meetings and events
  • Follow up with clients by telephone, in person and email.
  • Respond to requests from customers with a sense of urgency
  • Stay updated on competitors and identify opportunities based on findings - communicate this internally.
  • Effective negotiation skills, strong ability to influence others, and project clear messages with credibility.
  • Ability to work in sales - remotely, virtually and travel.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 3 years of professional involvement in Post-Acute Healthcare Sales or Healthcare Consulting.
  • Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of all aspects of the sales call cycle, including lead generation.
  • Strong negotiation skills and communication with Leadership and Decision makers are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Must be mission-focused, numbers-driven, results-oriented, competitive, and persistent.
  • Proven technical knowledge of multiple CRM platforms and best practices, in addition to Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Apple products and Virtual platforms.
  • Close attention to detail and ability to balance multiple projects and tasks.
  • Fluent communication skills in person, via phone, and through email correspondence
  • Ability to work in a start-up, be flexible, self-motivated, and work independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week

Compensation package:

  • Commission pay
  • Uncapped commission

Travel requirement:

  • Travel
  • Up to 75% travel
