pressure, and have experience in inventory management and beverage costing.

• 3 years of experience in an upscale restaurant environment is required
• We would welcome those with previous working history/experience at an Asian restaurant or have knowledge of Asian cuisine, sakes, and specialty cocktails
• Weekend and holiday availability are required
• Full-time position. $80,000 - $150,000 per year based on experience, plus bonus/benefits.

Sommelier's/ Front of House Manager’s job is to mentor staff’s wine/sake knowledge, inspire, and delight our Guests with their wine service, and commit themselves to fostering an environment of excellence in food, wine, service, and hospitality.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Must be fully knowledgeable in all aspects of wine, sake, and beer service, including food parings, wine, sake and beer procurement and storage.
• Responsible for ordering and maintaining beer list in partnership with restaurant management
• Orders wine for both by the glass and bottle lists in partnership restaurant management
• Maintain and update beer and liquor pricing in partnership with restaurant management
• Maintain and execute bar inventory to ensure proper supply and limit shortages
• Maintain and update liquor lists and bar menus to ensure accuracy
• Responsible for ordering and stocking of bottled water, coffee, soda, and iced tea for the restaurant
• Meets with vendors and tastes wines and sakes to select for wine list
• Responsible for stocking and organization of wine, sake, beer, and liquor in storage
• Maintains wine and sake lists and recommends bottle or individual glass prices
• Discusses wines and sakes with Guests and assists Guests in making selections
• Opens wine bottle, tastes wine, or offers taste to Guest prior to serving, and serves wines to Guests
• Verifies accuracy of delivery, invoices; products ordered, and products received
• Completes accurate and thorough weekly and monthly inventory of wine
• Updates and maintains accurate wine/liquor/beer lists on menus
• Delivers Passionate & Engaging Service to our Guests
