Position Overview:

The Corporate Operations Specialist is responsible for generating daily reports for AIT stations and Independent Contractors. This position will be responsible for monitoring trends and address past due issues. Identify solutions for Residential Delivery accounts clarification for business rules using new flag/tag for customer codes. Work with the IT department on various systems enhancements for AS400.

What You Will Be Doing Day-to-Day:

• Generate On Time Reports for AIT Stations, ICs on a daily basis to monitor trends and address past due issues.
• Responsible for Agent POD Scanned QMS Report, maintain goal of 5 % for outstanding PODs
• Identify root cause for departmental issues and implement solutions as needed
• Cartage / Final Mile Snapshot. Monthly quarterly data on ASC quality, market focus, new agent focus
• Responsible for mapping primary agents’ coverage and rates and identify uncovered and high cost areas that requires improvement.
• Create Sops and train stations & agents
• Domestic Defect Codes, maintain goal of 27% for hawb w/no defect codes entered
• Work with stations/sales on special projects

Other Skills We Hope to See:

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent
• 0-3 years of Freight Forwarding industry experience is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office advanced skills in Excel, Word and Outlook
• Ability to exercise sound judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.
• Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with vendors, community, and staff.
