POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Service Technician will serve as the liaison between Air Comfort and their customers. Their core priority is addressing customers’ needs and concerns as quickly and effectively as possible to develop and maintain strong relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install and test HVAC equipment and components to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain client preventative maintenance accounts.
• Reading and comprehending installation and operation manuals.
• Respond to service requests from clients and dispatchers.
• Instruct customers in regard to proper operation of their systems.
• Escalate critical issues to management expediently.
• Well versed in the proper use of necessary tools and equipment.
• Compose service reports after each service visit.
• Collaborate with management and other service technicians.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Persuade customers to invest in necessary replacements or vital repairs to key components and hardware devices.
• Handle all customer relations in a professional and friendly manner.
• Explaining complex installation, diagnostic and repair issues in a manner that is understandable to a non-technical audience
• Solid technical knowledge of blueprints, diagrams, mechanical engineering schematics and electrical diagrams
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong knowledge about their industry and the general requirements of different equipment types
• Physical stamina in the handling of complex tools and heavy equipment and moving through confined spaces
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while utilizing technical judgment regarding complex tasks
• Adhere to safety regulations and industry standards.
