The Heat Seal Operator is an entry level position with on the job training. This role is responsible for accessing computerized art files and printing them onto prepared materials and garments.
Must be able to cross-train in heat seal and other duties in the garment area as needed. Attention to detail, an eye for color, and good technical ability are essential.
The ideal candidate will have a team-oriented mindset, outgoing personality, and eagerness to learn new skills! 2nd Shift Hours : 3 : 30 pm - 12 : 00 am with mandatory OT extending end of shift on weeknights past midnight, as needed Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Select correct material and cut and spray material to prepare for printing.
Use Direct to Garment (DTG) software to access art files. Accurately place the garment on the printer to ensure the correct placement of artwork.
Print designs onto prepared material from the computerized art files. Apply heat seal to backs of printed materials. Run garment through the printer.
Heat press garment. Additional duties as assigned. Marginal Job Functions : Some basic machine maintenance required Skills / Qualifications : A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Basic knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus but not required. Knowledge of other relevant computer software and systems.
Excellent attention to detail. Must have an eye for color. Good technical ability. Ability to multi-task under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Good problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines. Must possess initiative, energy, and drive. Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers and management.
Supervisory Responsibilities : None Physical Demands : Use hands and fingers to handle, touch, and type. Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
