AGS Company Automotive Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Process Technician to join our team. As a Process Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our manufacturing operations by monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing production processes. You will work closely with our production teams to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Role and Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain manufacturing processes, including machinery, equipment, and systems, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot issues, and identify areas for improvement to minimize downtime.
• Set up and operate production machinery and equipment according to established guidelines and specifications.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet or exceed defined standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production personnel to develop and implement process improvements, including optimizing cycle times, reducing wastes, and enhancing overall productivity.
• Assist in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various manufacturing processes.
• Train and mentor production line operators on proper equipment operation, safety protocols, and quality control procedures.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to equipment malfunction, electrical or mechanical failures, and other process-related challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, including equipment performance, production output, and any deviations from standards.
• Adhere to safety regulations and promote a safe working environment by following established safety protocols and conducting regular safety inspections. Perform set up, verification, and preventative maintenance procedures for start up

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a process technician or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, machinery, and equipment.
• Knowledge of quality control principles and practices, including the ability to perform measurements and inspections.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with MS Office applications and manufacturing software.
• Strong desire and ability to thrive in a continuous improvement culture

• Sound knowledge of industrial machines and mechanical processes
