Welcome to Moreland Farms! We’re a multi-generation, family owned and operated diversified farm located in north-central Oklahoma. We’re hiring a Herdsman to join our team in South Haven, KS (About 50 miles south of Wichita, Kansas). In this role, you will be managing the day-to-day activities of a large beef cattle herd including feeding and overall herd health. The Herdsman reports directly to the owner and is responsible for the success of this arm of the operation.

What you will be doing:

• Performing daily cattle feeding and nutrition activities.
• Doctoring of sick animals.
• Daily management and monitoring of cow health
• Performing preventative health and treating illnesses.
• Building and maintaining farm fences.
• Assisting with breeding and placement decisions. 
• Recording and maintaining accurate records both manually and digitally.
