Arts and Craft Instructor - Afterschool Summer Program *URGENT*

Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Arts and Crafts Instructor to lead our summer after-school program. The ideal candidate will inspire and educate students in various art and craft techniques, fostering creativity and self-expression in a fun and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a beginner-friendly theatre curriculum suitable for elementary and middle school students.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational arts and crafts sessions.
• Introduce students to a variety of art materials and techniques.
• Manage classroom materials and setup before each class.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment where students can learn and create.
• Provide guidance and assistance to students during craft projects.

Qualifications:

• Strong ability to teach a variety of artistic techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for teaching young children.
• High degree of creativity and familiarity with arts and crafts materials.
• A patient, friendly, and engaging teaching manner.
• Ability to design age-appropriate, educational, and engaging activities.
• Patience and flexibility to work effectively with young students from diverse backgrounds.
• Must have availability 2 pm – 5 pm

Working Hours:

• Tuesdays, 1 hour per session

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
