Volleyball Coach for Elementary to Middle School - After School Summer Program

Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Volleyball Coach to lead our volleyball program for elementary to middle school students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the sport and a commitment to developing young athletes in a fun, safe, and competitive environment.

Schedule

• Classes will be held in the morning & afternoon, with specific times to be followed.
• Summer Program

Key Responsibilities

• Skill Development: Teach and enhance students' Volleyball skills.
• Training Planning: Develop and implement a training program that is engaging and appropriate for the age and skill level of the students.
• Mentoring and Guidance: Serve as a mentor to students, promoting values like teamwork, respect, and dedication.
• Performance Monitoring: Assess and monitor the progress of students, providing feedback and adjustments to their training as needed.
• Safety Management: Ensure all training sessions are conducted safely, with adherence to sport and school safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in Coaching: Previous experience coaching Volleyball, particularly at the youth or middle school level..
• Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Leadership Qualities: Proven ability to lead and motivate young athletes, fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to work in the afternoon schedule and adjust to program needs and changes.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 2 per week
