We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Strategy & Development to focus on internal customer engagement, IT product management and Organizational Change Management. In this role, you will be directly responsible for Affirm’s productivity tool roadmap. You will partner closely with the Client Engineering and SAAS Engineering teams to deliver process and technology solutions that enable them to support our internal customers while meeting our security, compliance and business objectives.
This role will report directly to the Senior Director, IT Engineering.
What you’ll do
Drive key strategic initiatives
Build cross-functional relationships
Act as an end-user advocate and representative
Help develop what “the future of work and collaboration” look like at Affirm
Bring a product lens to key collaboration tools
Help rationalize tool offerings to simplify and drive savings opportunities
Identify product gaps
Partner with Client and SAAS engineering to bring in new technologies
Market new features sets and tools to persona-stratified audiences
Perform industry analysis for new platforms and trends
Build a network of collaboration champions through the business to engage with and learn from
Develop IT Organizational Change Management strategies
consult on OCM needs for key programs
Develop internal customer personas
Deliver platforms and tools into the ecosystem whilst minimizing disruption
Educate and evangelize the collaboration portfolio at all levels and customer segments
Implement continuous feedback from end users to influence future roadmaps
Help develop IT’s 3-year strategy
Serve as a trusted member of the IT leadership team
Navigate and manage within an environment of ambiguity with diverse partners
What we look for
10 years of experience with IT product management or related experience
Relentless customer focus
Ability to assess internal customer needs and translate them into process and/or technology solutions
Strong experience with SAAS collaboration technologies. Deep Slack management experience is a plus.
Experience working in a remote-first environment.
Excellent communication skills
Willingness to dive into the details coupled with an ability to maintain focus on the overall strategy
Hands-on experience working in a matrixed organization
Pay Grade - USA31
Employees new to Affirm or promoted into a new role, typically begin in the min to mid range.
USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year:
Min: $190,000
Mid: $237,500
Max: $284,900
USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year:
Min: $171,000
Mid: $213,700
Max: $256,500
