AFCO Performance Group is seeking a highly motivated Assembly Specialist/ Parts Puller to join our team in Boonville, IN.

Daily activities may include using our computer system to help accurately pull & count parts for racing equipment orders, preparing parts for builds, and boxing racing parts. Most positions do not require repetitive heavy lifting, but you need to have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. In addition, you will likely flex to many different work areas in the company, as needed. 

Responsibilities

• Sort and pack lightweight materials. Count quantities packed in cartons. Label cartons accurately
• Read work orders, pull parts per work order, assemble parts and verify accuracy.
• Follow written work instructions.
• Perform spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
• Notifies management of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions
• Mechanical assembly skills preferred, operating basic machinery and hand tools.
• Housekeeping and organization of work area
• Must follow established AFCO Performance Group and OSHA safety policies and procedures.

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Frequent pinching, grasping and fine manipulation with fingers.
• High school diploma or a GED
• Maintain good attendance in accordance with AFCO’s attendance policy.
• Good oral communication skills
• Completion of background check and drug screening prior to employment
• Physical dexterity, fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
• Willingness to work and follow simple to more complex instructions.
• Maintain good attendance in accordance to AFCO’s attendance policy.
• Teamwork mentality and cooperative attitude toward co-workers and supervisors
• Professionalism, Decision Making, Attention to Detail
• Strong people skills, ability to work with little supervision, high work ethic, and confidence to deliver above average product quality and efficiency.
