Description
The graphic designer works to ensure Aevum's mission, values, and technology are conveyed and presented through high-quality graphics, animations, and other forms of visual art. This is an opportunity to join a fast paced autonomous AI technology company and help build the communications and marketing group from the ground up.
We are looking for an experienced and talented Graphic Designer who can visualize and create graphics that are informative and captivating. The ideal candidate is able to produce original content that tells the story of Aevum and our products that is comprehensible to the public.
This person will work closely with both technical and non-technical team members at Aevum.
Salary range for this position: $50,000 to $80,000; w/ significant UI/UX experience up to $120,000.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Develop illustrations, animations, logos, graphics, and other designs for various Aevum platforms using computer software or by hand.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to convey Aevum's message from the conceptual phase to the final completion of project.
  • Prepare rough drafts, sketches, visual concepts, ideas and present them to various teams.
  • Ensure projects are completed and executed at a high level while meeting deadlines.
Basic Qualifications
  • 3 years of experience in graphic design for technical organizations
  • Superb portfolio
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field. (If no degree, must have 5 years of professional graphic design experience)
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web.
  • Ability to design and create various styles of art.
  • Team player who works well both collaboratively and autonomously.
  • Must be able to receive feedback and make tweaks to graphics or projects that fit the team's need while also communicating respectfully to find common ground.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Must have a natural eye for design and color to produce imaginative content that effectively resonates with our consumers.
  • High proficiency in PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and other graphic design software.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Coachable with great attitude for success
  • Figma or Sketch experience is a plus
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • As needed, must be willing to work extended hours and weekends.
  • Must be willing to work in office; hybrid arrangement is a possibility after onboarding
