Job Requisition: Technical Writer

Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical project reports detailing LiDAR point density (planned and actual), accuracy, flight parameters, and other project-related details.
• Generate weekly project status updates encompassing flight and production progress.
• Develop cartographically appropriate thematic maps utilizing GIS data.
• Read and interpret documents such as scope of work, technical requirements, and project-related correspondence.
• Coordinate projects with team leaders and project managers.
• Work-from-home option available, with occasional in-office requirements at the Aero-Graphics SLC office building.

Requirements:

• Strong commitment to quality, high motivation, positive attitude, excellent multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficient in technical writing, with a focus on clarity and persuasion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Currently pursuing or possesses an associate or bachelor’s degree, preferably in GIS or a geography-related field.
