Aegis Therapies is Hiring a Speech Language Pathologist PRN Near Salem, OR

GENERAL PURPOSE

Performs evaluations and develops effective patient treatment plans to restore, maintain or prevent decline of patient function, by planning and administering medically prescribed therapy treatments in accordance with federal, state and professional standards governing outpatient and home health care. Services may be performed in therapy clinic or individual patient residence.

  • Position: Speech Language Pathologist, SLP
  • Hours: Consistent PRN, Monday thru Friday, no evenings or weekends.
  • Setting: Assisted Living Community
  • Location: Tierra Rose, Salem OR

With an outpatient therapy career in an assisted living or independent living community, you get the best of both worlds: the chance to improve the lives of seniors by meeting them where they live while maintaining greater flexibility in your schedule. You’ll have a smaller caseload than when working in other settings, so you’ll truly get to focus on helping people succeed. You’ll also get to flex your business skills by helping market the clinic, doing your own scheduling and working independently.

You’ll only treat residents Monday-Friday – no evenings or weekends! Plus, you’ll treat residents in their room or in an on-site clinic so there’s no need to travel to homes outside the building. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate from Speech-Language Pathology program
  • Current license or ability to obtain as Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of practice
  • Previous experience in outpatient, preferred
  • Must meet Clinical Competency requirements
  • Current CPR certification, if practicing in home health
