Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to be based in Seattle, Washington .

This position is expected to begin in June 2024.

• Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.

• Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidate must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management with the intent to continue after the internship, unless graduating.

• Candidate must have completed 1 year of study in their program.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience and/or proficiency in DOT.

• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

• Bluebeam and Microsoft Project proficiency.

• Ability to learn new technologies and concepts.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information

• Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.

• As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a substance abuse test.

• Offered rate of compensation (Washington locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The hourly range for this position is $18 - $26/hr.
