We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our team transforming business problems into actionable insights by leveraging data analytics, identifying trends to providing strategic recommendations, and collaborating with cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams to drive informed decision-making as well as optimizing business processes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Will independently develop scalable, innovative approaches to extracting, managing, and analyzing data to ensure success of analytics across the company.
- Works to develop and support embedded analytic strategy by integrating current industry best practices.
- Optimizes data models through normalization, table analysis, and review of queries.
- Collaborate with others responsible for analytics across the organization to teach techniques and work together to solve data and analytic problems.
Required Experience
- 5 years of direct experience in a related field (statistics, performance management, analytics, or research) with data modeling and architecting analytics solutions as well as ably communicating complex data in simple form.
- Recent Experience in "Big Data" environments (Snowflake).
- Key Skills: • Snowflake • API Integration • Cloud Architectures • Data Analysis • Data Architecture • Data Governance • Data Management • Data Mining • Data Modeling • Data Visualization • Data Warehousing
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Emphasis in math, statistics, analytics, operations research, computer science or another applicable field.
- Experience working with utilities/Energy.
