Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Resolves cross-functional technical issues.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
Basic Qualifications (5 years exp):

Extensive knowledge modeling languages and frameworks such as UML, SysML, UAF, DoDAF
Ability to utilize SysML and UAF to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives
Ability to collaborate with team members and create plans for executing on deliverables
Experience mentoring technical teams and individuals
Ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences using a variety of media to clearly convey information and ideas
Ability to use MBSE tools and processes to create and manage tailored MBSE artifacts that capture analysis and the resulting engineering decisions and trades made during acquisition and development
Experience in Functional decomposition, allocation, and analysis and logical architecture
Knowledge of modular open systems approach (MOSA) design principles and technologies and Agile systems engineering methods and tools
Experience with configuration management within a TeamWork Cloud environment.
Experience with Data Architecture or Model Management including meta-modeling/data-modeling and scripting within a SysML or UAF Framework
Experience with additional MBSE tools such as 3DExperience (3DX) or other similar tools is desired.
Experience creating style guides, data architectures or aircraft system architectures.
Object Management Group (OMG) Certified System Modeling Language Professional (OCSMP) Model User and Builder Certification
INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) Certification
