Daily Schedule:

Monitoring programs for transporters taking loads

Standby program – procure carries to haul spot loads ( loads that needs to be booked with short lead time)

Getting carriers on standby once booked to capacity.

Manual Critical Process – Short lead time loads tend to be expensive, the contractor will get carriers procured before hand at a better rate.

Getting list of carriers that have signed up, creating truck orders, ensuring suppliers recognized by systems, when short lead time comes it gets automatically booked by carriers.

Managing supply of carriers signed up for the program.

Monitor efficiency of the supplied carriers on stand by.

Ensure the program is profitable.

Don’t procure too much or too little. Monitoring the supply and demand and reporting on it.

Publish Cost Forecast to other programs that get carriers and monitoring forecast for accuracy
