Responsibilities
•Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries via various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat
•Provide accurate information about New York Life's insurance and financial products, coverage options, policy terms, and benefits
•Address client concerns and issues, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate and facilitate the processing of policy changes, claims, and other client requests
•Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, transactions, and communications in the company's systems
•Educate clients about policy features, payment options, billing inquiries, and account management tools
•Identify opportunities to enhance the client experience and make recommendations for process improvements
•Stay updated with industry trends, products, and services to provide clients with relevant and up-to-date information
•Support the sales team by assisting with client onboarding, policy applications, and information gathering
Qualifications
•High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)
•Prior experience in a customer service or client-facing role, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
•Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
•Proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry, documentation, and communication
•Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
•Empathetic and patient attitude with a genuine desire to help clients
•A detail-oriented and organized approach to handling client requests and inquiries
•Bilingual language skills are a valuable asset
•Must be licensed or willing to get licensed in Life & Health Insurance
•Sales experience preferred
