The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Medical Group West FL

The role you'll contribute: Non-Acute Project Manager

The role of the project manager is to provide project support and lead project work for the ambulatory team. The project manager coordinates, manages, and monitors the workings of various projects in the organization. Serves as a liaison between business users and implementation team communicating appropriately and effectively with co-workers, customers, and supervisors. Maintains awareness of project status and any potential delay, situation or concern that may affect the outcome of the project. This person will facilitate the development of project and deployment plans in accordance with organizational strategic and operational initiatives. Includes the identification of project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements. The project manager develops, engages, and manages cross functional teams during the project management process to identify roles and responsibilities, tasks, deliverables, dependencies, schedule, and to ensure resolution execution

To be successful in this role he/she must understand but be independent of the work processes to provide unbiased direction to the executive and senior leadership, process improvement teams and the organization overall.

* Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation

* Interfaces directly with project stakeholders to track progress and identify issues related to achieving project deadlines

* Provides project status communication to project teams and stakeholders via periodic updates and formal progress reports; may provide education or training on results and solutions to impacted stakeholders.

* Drives day-to-day tasks and deliverables, ensuring quality and timeliness of work

* Tracks project progress towards meeting objectives as well as identifies and mitigates possible deviations from established plans and timelines

* Builds and maintains custom dashboards and reports to analyze and communicate organizational performance

* Develops high-level reports for executive management

* Conducts assessments of current processes to determine the opportunity for standardization and/or greater efficiency

* Aligns with Directors/Administrators/Managers of all departments to identify opportunities for improvement

* Able to troubleshoot problems with minimal assistance. Consistently seeks and promotes innovative solutions or approaches to problem solving, from a technical and functional viewpoint in a highly flexible and interactive manner as data reveals new information or requirements evolve or change

* Performs other duties as assigned

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

Minimum qualifications :

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, Project Management or Project Management or related field

* Minimum of three (3) years of project management, process management, business operations, consulting, or management experience

* Demonstrated ability in successfully collaborating with multiple departments

Preferred qualifications:

* Interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of employees (Executive, Management, and staff) both written and verbally

* Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with good organizational, follow-up, computer, and analytical skills

* Must have a high degree of collaboration skills

* Requires significant initiative and judgement to be exercised independent of the supervisor

* Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheets
