Advantech USA is Hiring a Senior Accountant Near Milpitas, CA
- Perform monthly sales commission calculations.
- Perform monthly medical insurance payment and expenses booking.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations of prepaid and accrued expense accounts.
- Assist with semi-monthly payroll processing, reviewing timecards, resolving payroll discrepancies, and answering employee payroll inquiries.
- Maintain payroll operation according to company policies and procedures.
- Prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Assist with internal and external reporting and audit requirements.
- Team up with cross-functional teams to implement accounting process improvements.
- Assist with other assignments as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting preferably in manufacturing setting and some experience in payroll processing
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
- Multi-state payroll experience is a plus.
- Proficient in SAP accounting software is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel, power point and outlook)
