Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
  • Manage Skill Team learning and development needs from an organizational perspective.
  • Managing strategic projects and teams.
  • You will work with skill teams to determine best fit training needs and manage the development and deployment of strategic initiatives within the engineering organization.
  • You will manage several projects and teams to scope, research, ideate, and deploy solutions to the organization related to Learning and Development.
Skills Required:
  • Strong project management, organizational, and team management skills.
  • Learning Specialist acts as a liaison between the Learning and Development organization and the technical skill teams.
Software Fluency:
  • All Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote), Microsoft SharePoint, Techsmith, Camtasia, and Snagit.
  • Understanding of Adobe Suite of Video/Graphics Applications (Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Understanding of Course Development Tools (Adobe Captivate).
  • Understanding of Learning Management Systems.
Professional Skills:
  • Project Management of both large and small scale projects and ability to multitask.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills as well as Team Management.
  • Proven Oral and Written communication skills and ability to work across organizational boundaries to accomplish tasks.
  • Strong Organizational Skills.
  • Ability to work independently on projects with little definition and scope.
  • Flexibility in dynamic environment of shifting workload and priorities.
Skills Preferred:
  • Passion for learning and continuing education
Experience Required:
  • Project Management experience in either a Learning environment or Technical organization.
Experience Preferred:
  • 5 years managing projects in either a Learning environment or Technical organization.
Education Required:
  • Bachelors Degree
