Job Title: HR and Administrative Assistant
Location: Nicholasville, KY
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Working Hours: 8am-5pm

Overview:
A global manufacturing company is seeking a HR/ Administrative Assistant. The HR/ Administrative Assistant will supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department and ensuring a smooth experience for employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not are limited to:
* Assist with all aspects of HR functions and duties.
* Compile, update, and maintain employee records (both physical and digital).
* Process documentation and generate reports related to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, etc.).
* Coordinate HR projects, including meetings, training sessions, and employee surveys.
* Address employee queries regarding HR policies, regulations, and benefits.
* Provide support with the visa application process for new hires.
* Assist employees with benefit enrollment and administration (health insurance, 401(k), worker's compensation).
* Answer, screen, and direct phone calls professionally.
* Organize and schedule appointments for HR staff and management.
* Create and distribute emails, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms.
* Develop and manage a comprehensive filing system for HR documents.
* Maintain and update office policies and procedures for clarity and accuracy.
* Order and manage office supplies, researching new deals and suppliers for cost-effectiveness.
* Book travel arrangements for HR personnel and support staff.
* Plan and coordinate maintenance for company vehicles and facilities.
* Provide general support to expatriate employees, including assisting with purchasing tasks.
* Other duties requested by Management.

Qualifications:
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or HR support role.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
