Director of Demand Generation
Reports to: VP of MarketingTeam: Marketing
The Director of Demand Generation is a key leadership role within the marketing department, responsible fordeveloping and executing an overarching demand generation strategy that aligns with the company's broaderobjectives. This role oversees the strategic planning, management, and implementation of demand gen campaignsacross various marketing channels to drive qualified inbound leads and marketing-influenced revenue, whilemanaging budget and optimizing for ROI.
This is a full time, remote position. Travel is required 10-20% to large trade shows throughout the U.S. as well asoccasionally to our HQ in Austin, TX.
Key Responsibilities
● Strategy Development: Create and oversee the demand generation strategy, ensuring alignmentwith the company's overall goals.● Budget Management: Oversee and optimize the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation ofresources to maximize ROI.● Campaign Development and Implementation: Design, develop, and launch highly-targetedcampaigns that include paid advertising, email marketing, content marketing, account-basedmarketing, events, and more.● Lead Generation and Nurturing: Implement strategies and programs to generate, qualify, and nurtureleads to create a steady pipeline for the sales team.● Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Drive targeted marketing strategies for high-value accounts tocreate personalized buying experiences across all marketing channels.● Event Management: Lead the strategy and execution of events, both virtual and in-person, to fosterconnections and drive leads. Attend major trade shows to support in person.● Content Marketing: Collaborate with the content team to leverage and produce content thatresonates with the target audience and drives engagement.● Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering aculture of collaboration, innovation, and results-orientation.● Analytics & Optimization: Track, measure, and analyze campaign results, leveraging insights toiterate and enhance performance against objectives.● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other marketing teams, sales, product, andleadership to ensure integrated and effective marketing strategies.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; or equivalent work experience● 8 years of experience in B2B marketing to enterprise organizations, with a proven track record indemand generation for professional services● Proficiency in various marketing technologies and platforms, including Salesforce and Pardot.● Strong analytical skills with an ability to drive actionable insights from data.● Exceptional leadership capabilities with proven experience in team management.● Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.● Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities.● Highly organized with attention to detail.

Position Summary
This position is responsible for managing and guiding the implementation of clearly defined marketing and communications strategies that support revenue growth and enhance brand awareness. Just as importantly, the Marketing Director will ensure the message is consistent by managing brand standards across various channels, working cross-functionally with Client Services and Sales teams. The ideal candidate will have a knack for transferring technical knowledge into external communications, and the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities for the company.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities • Work with Senior Leadership to develop integrated marketing plan by product that aligns with annual growth objectives• Create/support marketing programs to meet sales pipeline goals• Manage relationships and activities with key external partners such as agencies, data relationships, and promotional partners to ensure competitive positioning in the marketplace. • Manages Public Relations activities as directed by need-state • Responsible for understanding competitive landscape and working with Head of Sales to mitigate any risk to brand perception. • Support new product launches and work internally with agency-partners to identify cross-selling opportunities and enterprise product marketing

Indirect Reports- Does not have direct reports, but may delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports

Field of Study/Area of Experience: Marketing / Public Relations or Digital Marketing / Technology 5 Years of experience in operations or fulfillment role in a technical or agency environmentIn-depth technical knowledge of digital marketing, specifically email marketing and programmatic media
