Schedule : 8 am 5 pm

Pay : $12 15 / hr. (Based on experience)

Podiatry Medical Assistant Responsibilities :

• Maintain and update patient medical records.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of medical records.
• Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
• File and organize paperwork, including medical records and administrative documents.
• Communicate with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members.
• Answer phones, take messages, and relay information to appropriate personnel.
• Record and measure patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Prepare examination rooms for patient visits.

Qualifications : Strong knowledge of chief complaints, medical terminology, documentation, insurance verifications, HIPPA, in-office procedures, and patient care.

Other requirements include multi-tasking, wound care, medical instrument knowledge, x-rays, and returning patient calls.

The ideal candidate will have two years of related experience. Lifting requirements are frequently up to 50 pounds.
