Job duties include answering phone and routing calls to correct department. Scheduling appointments. Entering patient information into computer, to include demographics, entering and verifying insurance information. Greeting patients and visitors in a professional, courteous and friendly manner. Checking patients in to see provider, receiving and posting copays from patients. Assisting with collections of patients with outstanding balances.
Must possess ability to multitask, possess excellent computer skills, good knowledge of working with excel, word, etc. Excellent communication skills.

- Medical administrative support, Patient service, Office experience, Front desk, and Administrative experience are essential core skills for this role.
- Premium skills such as knowledge of EMR systems, EHR systems, HIPAA, Medical terminology, and Medical records are highly valued.
- Proficiency in multi-line phone systems
- Computer skills are necessary for success in this role.
- Strong communication skills are crucial for effective patient interaction and teamwork in a medical office setting.
