The aRes Travel booking engine enables these websites to tap into one of the largest collections of travel products in the industry, including 90,000 hotels ranging from independent value-driven properties to large conference centers and resorts in major metropolitan cities. aRes Travel also e-tickets to more than 1,000 attractions, activities, tours, festivals, and events, 1,500 unique packages, 1,000 hotel deals, 450 airlines, and 25 rental car companies under contract.
Summary:
Relying on systems knowledge and analytical skills, the Attractions Operations Manager will be responsible for the build-out and maintenance of all attractions/activities and ticket products, including providing basic technical support and troubleshooting. This includes analyzing and responding to issues with inventory, barcode integrations, reports, geo-codes, etc.
Responsibilities:
Support/project manage the Attraction Sales Manager in the effort of building out new products and offers, including new attractions partners, new ticket products, and special offers.
Support/project manage Affiliate Account Management and Business Development teams in the effort of building out new products and offers, including new direct ticketing/event partners and special offers.
Train new attraction & activity partners on the Extranet functionalities and best practices.
QA of all attraction & activity products.
Shop & compare the pricing of others that sell the same or similar ticket products to maximize aRes Travel’s transactions and revenue.
Oversee build-out and functionality of aRes Travel’s attraction & activity products, including but not limited to the following:
Maintaining inventory levels (paper, voucher, e-ticket, timed ticket, showtimes)
Testing Tickets on the frontend, backend (HG), and gate
Prompt questions
Direct connect ticketing (API) Maintenance (e.g. Galaxy, USH, Seaworld, etc.)
Promo code offers
Featured tickets/product placement
Year-end reconciliation and seasonal returns
Content and image updates
Set up and train user accounts
Manage attractions alias and client interface
Help facilitate resolution of customer service issues by working with aRes Travel Call Center Supervisors
Help in Accounting functions
Ticket Refund Processing
Fraud request and blocking tickets
AMEX Payments
Template and Ticket Updates (Jira/Confluence/Salesforce)
Requirements and Skills:
Ability to handle & prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Applies fundamental travel industry marketing concepts, practices, and procedures.
Proficiency in Google Applications
Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
Flexible team player with excellent cross-functional and interpersonal skills.
Ability to assess multiple systems and troubleshoot problems.
Prior Experience in the Attraction Industry Preferred
