Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Perform account reconciliations, including balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
- Process journal entries and maintain accurate records
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations
- Support the accounts payable function by processing invoices and payments
- Assist in the preparation of financial audits and ensure compliance with SOX regulations
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of 10-key typing for efficient data entry

Please note that familiarity with accounts payable processes, balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger reconciliation, journal entries, and SOX compliance is highly desired for this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
