TEMPEST TECHNICIAN
Conducts and leads TEMPEST testing using approved test plan, the production test procedures and the
current National TEMPEST Standard by performing the following duties.

SUMMARY

• Reads test schedules.
• Reads and understands the test plan including test set-

enclosure in accordance with the test plan and current
National TEMPEST Standard.

• Verifies that the EUT is operational in all test modes.
• Verifies that the detection system test equipment is in

proved test plan and current National TEMPEST Stan-
dards.

• Maintains TEMPEST project logbook.
• Posts the test results using the appropriate software.
• Analyzes the test results and reports the results to the

PEST modifications, i.e. installs filters, electronic com-
ponents, shielding, etc.

• Verifies that the TEMPEST modifications perform as re-

Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience

and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
