THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Software Systems Design engineer to join our team that will thrive in a fast-paced work environment, using effective communication, problem-solving and prioritization skills. Individuals that are well organized, show great attention to detail, and employ critical thinking are well-suited for our team.

THE PERSON:

Are you a senior level person that can help guide a team, mentor upcoming developers, provide long range strategy, and is willing to jump in to help resolve issues quickly? Great opportunity to be involved in all areas that impact the team including performance, automation, and development. The right candidate will be informed on the latest trends and become prepared to give consultative direction to senior management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Key role supporting complex software applications used in Semiconductor development and Debug tools.
• Responsible for exploring opportunities to improve suite of software products.
• Work closely with other team members to understand design architecture and to propose solutions to improve and enhance products.
• Work to understand internal/external requirements and then design / Develop / Code Review / Write Test-Cases for implementation.
• Help Guide the team, help mentor upcoming developers, and provide input on long range strategy.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Strong object-oriented design concepts
• Hands-on experience in C#, .Net Core , Relational Databases, and Python
• Understand requirements, Design, Develop, Code review, Write test-cases
• Experience in RESTful API & Web Services
• Experience with Inter-operability (managed un-managed) is nice to have.
• Prior experience in any of the unit testing framework such as MS Test, NUnit etc.
• Front-end development experience using Angular, CSS is nice to have
• Good Problem-solving skills
• Developed application for Windows and Ubuntu 18.04/ 20.04
• A powerful desire to learn new skills and understand new features as they are added.
• Proven record of accomplishment of working within and across groups.
• Effective communication skills.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineer, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field preferred.
