POSITION OVERVIEW
AITC seeks a Systems Engineer overseeing engineering activities of an organization's information systems.
Plans, designs, develops, evaluates, tests, and integrates an organization's systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software.
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
•Design, configure, deploy, and maintain applications, servers, storage, and network solutions.
•Manage and monitor all infrastructure and systems installations, including configuration, testing, and maintenance.
•Proactively work to improve reliability, stability, and security of the enterprise.
•Ensure all network devices and configurations are compliant with current DoD and Army regulations.
•Conduct high-level root-cause analysis of service interruptions and establish preventive measures.
•Research and evaluate new hardware and software solutions.
•Work with developers to deploy and maintain applications, including hardening and vulnerability remediation.
•Create and update documentation.
•Ensure correctness of all diagrams, device checks and databases.
•Additional duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
•Seven (7 ) years of related experience.
•Bachelor’s degree in a related field
•ITIL Foundations within 6 months.
•SECRET Clearance
•Security CE
•Must be a US citizen.
•Able to work Overtime as required.
•Must be available to travel as required.
PREFERRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
•Knowledgeable in Army Network Enterprise Center operations
•Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail.

oMicrosoft Certified Professional (MCP)
•Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
•Predominantly indoors in a normal office environment.
•Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and reach.
•Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
•May require frequent computer use for several hours at a time.
•Frequently work at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.
•Must have visual acuity.
•Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
