Description
JOB SUMMARY
This position will support day-to-day operations by performing administrative tasks and ensuring high-quality customer service for our patients through administrative duties. patient care at a competent level as directed by a provider, within the scope of approved skills according to the needs of the patients including rooming patients, taking vitals, documenting in patient medical record in accordance with policies/procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Check in Patients
  • Answer busy phones
  • Update and maintain patients' health records.
  • Assist patients with the initial paperwork.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments
  • Make changes to the schedule.
  • Use our touch screen EMR medical software to support all transactions.
  • Answer patients' queries and ensure quality customer service.
  • Input New Patient information into the EMR
  • Collaborate with staff to help with ordering supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with attendance.
  • Collaborate with patients' notes and update as needed
  • Performs assigned tasks for patients as assigned.
  • Assists personnel in communication with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure quality of care.
  • Coordinates schedules of diagnostic testing.
  • Considers the diverse needs of each patient, providing and ensuring the highest level of service according to established service standards, optimizing the patient experience.
  • Participates in collaborative identification and reporting of patient safety issues and ensures clean and safe patient environment.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 Yrs in Medical Facility
  • BILINGUAL
  • Certified as a Medical Assistant preferred.
  • Current BLS
EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma or GED
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE
  • CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE preferred
  • Current BLS
