Advanced Dermatology, a robust, well-established independent and privately-owned group practice consisting of 3 Board Certified Dermatologists, a fellowship trained Mohs Surgeon and 4 extenders, with increasing patient base and referrals is seeking to hire a full time Medical Assistant at our Norwich location.

Dermatology experience is not required, however prior medical experience is preferred; although we are willing to train the right candidate. This position will be assisting in all aspects of dermatologic patient care, both administrative and clinical, including, but not limited to:

- Rooming patients

- Verifying patients demographics/insurance

- Assisting and setting up surgical procedures (Biopsy, ED&C, PDT, Excision, etc.)

- In-room scribe/completing provider charts/notes

- Calling patients with biopsy results

- Suture removals/wound care

- Stocking and cleaning rooms

- Instrument cleaning and sterilization
