Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Outpatient Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients and assisting our healthcare team in delivering excellent services. You will work in our outpatient clinic, where you will perform various administrative and clinical duties.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting physicians and nurses in providing care to patients
• Preparing patients for medical examinations and procedures
• Taking and recording vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information
• Administering medications and injections as directed by physicians
• Cleaning and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment
• Providing patients with education and instructions regarding their medical conditions and treatments
• Coordinating patient care and scheduling appointments
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records

Requirements

• High school diploma and additional training courses resulting in a degree or certification as Medical Assistant, Associates Degree preferred
• One – two years experience working in primary care office preferred
• Completion of training course resulting in a degree or certificate as Medical Assistant, CNA with clinical experience, or EMT.
• Current CPR certification
