Advanced Cardiology Associates is Hiring a Cardiac Sonographer Near Rochester, MI

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Sonographer to join our medical team.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as experience with sonography and diagnostic evaluation.

The job requires performance of diagnostic cardiac sonography examinations according to office's protocols. Evaluates test results for clarity and accuracy, notifies physician of abnormal preliminary findings and logs findings in EMR.

Ability to perform noninvasive peripheral vascular imaging and Doppler procedures as well is a plus.

Operates, cleans and performs minor maintenance and repairs of testing equipment and machinery to maintain them in proper operating condition according to office standards. Cleans and sterilizes equipment and workspace.

Participates in process improvement and quality improvement initiatives.

Will be working in a team environment with other technologists and physicians. Must be able to communicate effectively with patients and co-workers.

This job is mainly performed in Rochester Hills, with some coverage in our Oxford office as needed. We are a private, multi-specialty, group practice that offers Cardiology and Family Practice services. Our office hours are Monday through Thursday and we are closed on Fridays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
