What you'll do
Build highly scalable and available data lake solutions for data ingestion and data management, supporting all AEP downstream applications.
Optimize distributed micro services and Spark applications to reduce cost and enhance availability.
Work closely with a team of developers and quality engineers on the design and implementation of data lake features.
Exhibit a level of technical leadership needed for successful progression. Provide accountability and ownership for all task assignments. What you'll need to succeed:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with 10 years experiences or Master/Ph.D Degree in Compute Science or relevant field with 6 year experiences.
Passion for building high quality and performance distributed systems.
Extensive experiences in building large-scale distributed systems.
Strong problem-solving skills. Good time management skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong coding skills in at least one of the following programming languages: C/C , Scala, Java. Working experiences with data processing frameworks, e.g., Spark, Flink, Kafka etc.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.
Passion for streamlining developer workflows through improved tooling and embracing or inventing new tech. Helpful skills and knowledge
Spark Internals (Spark Core, Spark SQL).
Experiences with Azure ADLS, AWS S3 .
Familiar with Apache Iceberg and Delta Lake.
Knowledge on Data Skipping and Indexing.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $173,300 -- $312,200 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
