THEMED ENTERTAINMENT – ESTIMATOR (Argyle – New York)

Adirondack Studios (ADKS) is hiring a collaborative and experienced Estimator to join our team!
Our company designs, builds, and installs immersive experiences and environments in venues all over the world that include theme parks, live theatre, museum exhibitions, experiential hospitality and public art.
What You Will Do:
Lead the estimation process for bespoke design and fabrication projects, leveraging a deep understanding of project scopes of work, design documentation, and specifications.
Craft detailed bid packages and requests for quotations (RFQs) for subcontractor-driven scopes of work.
Help educate the design process to ensure ongoing deliverables fall within budget expectations.
Thoroughly assess and document all anticipated project costs for all phases of a project, including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and on-site requirements.
Coordinate with internal team members and preferred vendors to establish competitive and responsible strategies and pricing.
Support business development efforts including pre-bid meetings, client-facing meetings and presentations, bid reviews, and proposal preparation.
Conduct post-project financial evaluations to inform future estimates.
Your Skills and Experience:
Solid background in estimation and construction practices.
Expertise in data analysis, statistics, and mathematics, with a keen eye for detail.
Strategic thinker with a knack for analyzing complex data to derive accurate estimates for all projects, large and small.
Proficient in industry-related analytical tools, including Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam Revu.
Experience in theatre, themed entertainment, or an adjacent field is a plus!

This salaried position will be located in our Argyle New York office. The estimated pay range for this position is $70,000 – $90,000.
