Role Description
As Product Manager, you will guide a team that is charged with a defining, building and delivering cloud based data services, analytics and AI. This is a platform foundation for a portfolio of cloud products that will leverage these data services, including analytics and AI. You will build products based on needs of the business products in the cloud portfolio, technology and market trends and competitive differentiation. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality and the ability to translate that to what, why and how. You will work with an engineering counterpart to define platform release requirements. You will work with Product Managers that are responsible for cloud products on requirements, timelines and releases that will consume platform data services, analytics and AI. You will work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, messaging and positioning of platform data services, analytics and AI. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your platform data services. Your role as a cloud platform Product Manager will span strategic through tactical, business through technical, and individual through team collaboration.
Qualifications
• 7-10 years of software product management experience
• 2 years of SaaS or platform services product management experience
• Experience in rapid prototyping through production delivery mindset with design led thinking approaches and skillsets
• Strong understanding of structured and unstructured data, data lifecycle management, analytics instrumentation, AI (multiple technologies and tactics)
• Experience translating business outcomes into technical requirements
• A metric driven customer first mindset (internal and external)
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills• This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites (25%)
Responsibilities
• Managing the cloud platform lifecycle for data services, analytics and AI from strategic, through definition, delivery and go to market.• Market analysis for cloud platform data services, analytics and AI across technical and business trends, customer outcome based needs, and competitive insights and targets.• Internal analysis and prioritization based on product application team needs and requirements.
• Strong collaboration with design, architecture, development and cloud ops teams on the delivery of data services, analytics and AI from rapid prototyping, feedback iteration, preview and production delivery.
• Maintain, prioritize and continual assessment of an iterative, fast paced data services and AI roadmap and standards that support the market, customers and Aderants consuming applications.
• Support product line teams in the adoption and use of platform data services and AI.
• Collaboration with key cross functional teams included marketing, customer success, and security.
