Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dynamic Certified Medical Assistant to join our team and work with an incredible client. As a RN, you will play a crucial role in providing care to students in a clinic, contributing to their overall healthcare experience.
Responsible for assisting providers in the administration of patient care in assigned clinical areas.
Assists with patient examinations, procedures, diagnostic studies, treatment, and dressing changes.
Also performs general administrative duties in accordance with TJC, CLIA, HIPAA, NCQA and government standards, as well as company policies and procedures.
All patient care is under the direction of a physician and within the scope of a medical assistant.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide basic healthcare to patient(s)
- Room and take vitals
- Preparing and administering vaccine(s)
- Update patients history
- Ensure HIPPA & Joint Commission compliance
Qualifications & Education:
- Current and updated resume
- 2-years recent work history – CMA
- Neuro experience a plus.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association
- Titers (MMR, Varicella, Hep B)
- Tdap Vaccination current (within the past 10yrs)
- Tb Skin Test or Chest X-ray up to date
- Current Flu Vaccine
