Position Summary: The Adams State University School of Business invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, nontenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in General Business. The person appointed to this position will instruct as well as create courses in business communications, leadership, management, organizational behavior, and general business topics to support the business curriculum, advise students, engage in service responsibilities to the department and university, and maintain scholarly currency in the discipline. The anticipated course load is 12 undergraduate credit hours per semester. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum: ● Master’s degree in Business Administration or related Business emphasis ● Experience in business or a related field. Preferred: ● Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Business Administration with a focus in business communications, management, or organizational behavior/theory/strategies earned from an accredited institution ABD near completion will be considered ● Experience teaching business courses or business-related material in an industrial setting. ● Commitment to providing a quality educational experience for students while maintaining an appropriate level of rigor. ● Demonstrated knowledge and ability to work effectively with individuals and groups with a variety of identities, cultures, backgrounds, and ideologies in a global environment. Salary and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $67,620 - $71,856 commensurate with experience and education.
