Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Bilingual Leasing Consultant with experience in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIT) or tax credit programs to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and [Second Language] and possess a strong understanding of leasing principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry to lease signing, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for prospective members
Conduct property tours, highlighting features and amenities to potential renters
Screen prospective members by reviewing applications, conducting background checks, and verifying income eligibility for LIT or tax credit programs
Maintain accurate leasing records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
Assist with resident relations and address any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with the property management team to develop and implement leasing strategies to achieve occupancy goals
Participate in outreach efforts to attract and retain members, including organizing community events and marketing initiatives
Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to effectively position the property in the marketplace

Qualifications:

Fluency in English and [Spanish] (written and verbal) is required
Previous experience as a leasing consultant in a multifamily housing environment, preferably with exposure to LIT or tax credit programs
Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with residents and colleagues
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Yardi)
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in property management or related field is a plus

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
