This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team at adam&eveDDB NY as the Client Growth Director. You are the right person for this role if you are self-motivated, visionary, and a highly proactive individual. You are capable of identifying and pursuing opportunities to expand and strengthen our existing client relationships, while driving revenue growth for both adam&eveDDB and the client. Your success will be evaluated against achieving aggressive business growth objectives.

In this role, you will swiftly acquire knowledge of our agency’s capabilities, and our greater network’s capabilities, to contribute to the growth and financial success of the office. You will build strong client relationships with key clients, helping to advance the agency’s reputation and quality of work. You will mostly partner with the Account leads for our two largest clients in North America in year 1.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively initiate client relationships and learn the client’s business inside and out.
  • Identify opportunity areas for organic growth against the agency’s capabilities, and our greater Omnicom network’s capabilities.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director to identify capability expansion opportunities across clients
  • Partner with account leads to drive responses to RFI and RFPs for existing clients’ additional business in an innovative, flawless, and timely manner
  • Audit and understand roster agency relationships & responsibilities across our key clients
  • Lead bi-weekly internal organic growth business meetings, partnering with account leads and our Business Growth Development team for North America.
    • Aligning on the brief / the ask
    • Aligning on the strategy & the creative brief
    • Reviewing the work
    • Preparing for client-related meetings
  • Create capabilities presentations and other marketing materials – fully leveraging the adam&eveDDB narrative and assets and integrating (office)-specific needs.
  • Coordinate internal resources within (office) and cross-office to develop client proposals, working in partnership with the assigned Project Manager.
  • Ensure alignment with project management to set clear critical paths, project deliverables, milestones, timetables, and calendars.
  • Work with the Managing Director, Operations Director & Account Leads to recommend staffing and resource for any and all converted organic growth opportunities

Qualifications

  • 10 years of agency experience preferably with business development experience within an advertising agency.
  • Confirmed and proven record of seeking out and generating organic growth opportunities with existing clients.
  • Solid track record of developing successful relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Communicates effectively and with influence at all levels and across all functions.
  • Understands industry developments, market trends, and their impact on business.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to quickly understand client needs.
  • Moderate ability to design and build presentation decks in Keynote, PowerPoint, and Google Slides preferred.
