Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide direct support and assistance to individuals in an assisted living setting. The Personal Assistant will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and comfort of residents by assisting with daily activities, meal preparation, and providing companionship. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, particularly in dementia care, and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and assistance to residents in accordance with their individual care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare meals and ensure proper nutrition for residents
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide companionship
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nurse on duty
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
- Respect and uphold resident rights and privacy at all times

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving, particularly in dementia care, is preferred
- Knowledge of resident rights and assisted living regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
- Basic knowledge of meal preparation and nutrition

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $14.45 - $16.42 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
