An international automotive parts manufacturing company is currently searching for a motivated Process Engineering Technician to join their facility in the western Dayton, Ohio area. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years’ experience with plastic injection molding manufacturing, and a positive, team-oriented mindset. This is a full-time, direct hire position with openings on multiple shifts available.

Process Engineering Technician Responsibilities Include:

• Assist engineering with new projects and manufacturing process improvement
• Mold set-up, changeovers, and repair
• Assist with new machinery implementation and facility layout changes
• Equipment setup and teardown
• Machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
• General operation and production as needed
• Ensure quality and safety initiatives are being met on the production floor
• Collect data about production, quality, projects etc. and compile documentation for upper management
• Other duties as assigned

Process Engineering TechnicianRequirements Include:

• Minimum High school diploma or GED required
• 1 to 3 years' work experience as a Mold Technician, Process Technician, or Maintenance Technician, preferably in an injection molding environment
• Technical-minded with strong analytical ability and time-management skills
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality standards
• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate with colleagues in a multicultural environment
• This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
