Additional Skills & Qualifications:

1. The Structural Engineer of Record shall have the following duties and responsibilities:2. Work with architectural project managers and marketing to prepare fee estimates and structural scopes of service in the development of project leads, on-call contracts, etc.3. Attend project interviews with potential Clients either at their offices or by virtual meeting as requested by the potential Client.4. Where required, perform mandatory pre-proposal site visits.5. Work directly with contractors to provide letter format proposals and fee estimates for Design-Build projects.6. Supervise engineers and CAD/Revit personnel in the preparation of structural calculations and Construction Documents.7. Review drawings and structural calculations prepared by structural staff.8. As necessary, prepare structural calculations directly for timely completion of a project.9. As necessary, prepare details to be incorporated into the Construction Documents by CAD/Revit staff.10. Prepare or supervise project specifications.11. As primary point of contact for all structural work, review and respond to AHJ review comments for all projects.12. Review and approve staff timesheets under the supervision of the SEOR.13. Review invoices for projects under the supervision of the SEOR (as Project Manager).14. As required by the project, provide Construction Administration support including direct review or supervision of support staff in the review of shop drawings, RFIs, Change Orders, and Structural Observation.15. Review and maintain structural software licenses. Coordinate with OIS or in-house staff where upgrades or new software is to be installed.16. Perform site visits in accordance with fee proposals.17. Where required, perform pre-bid, pre-construction, or other similar site visits.
